All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ JOHN VISH Boswell Boy Electrocuted John Vish Got Hold of High Tension Wire and Received Fatal Shock John Vish, aged 15, of Boswell, was instantly killed Monday evening at 6 o'clock when he came in contact with a high tension line of the Associated Gas & Electric Company in the vicinity of the Jenners Water Company dam. He was playing with another lad at the time of the fatality. It is not known exactly how the boy came in contact with the wire, but burns on his hands, arms and face indicate that he had held the wire, which, it is said, was carrying 22,000 volts. The unfortunate youth was a son of Michael and Agnes Vish and was born in Boswell. He was graduated from the graded schools a few months ago and expected to enter the Boswell High School next week.
