Dinsmore Vogel, 85, widow of Rev. Peter Vogel and nearly a life- long resident of Somerset County, died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Ella King Vogel, in Pittsburgh. Ill for more than a year, Mrs. Vogel left Somerset two weeks ago to spend the winter with her daughter, who is a teacher in the Pittsburgh schools. Last week the aged woman fell out of bed while reaching for a glass of water on a stand, suffering a fracture of the nose. The accident gave her a great shock from which she never rallied, her condition becoming serious Thursday. Mrs. Vogel's husband died in Somerset about 25 years ago. She is survived by three daughters - Ella King Vogel, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Virginia Moos, Bethany, W.Va., and Mrs. Maud Pullman, Pittsburgh. A sister in New Castle also survives. The body was brought to Somerset for burial. Meyersdale Republican, November 12, 1931
