ANNIE MERRBACH VOGTMANN

  Mrs. Annie Merrbach Vogtmann, aged 71 years, died at her home on Keystone 
Street, at 9:50 o'clock Wednesday evening, July 30, 1941.
  Mrs. Vogtmann, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gotfreed Merrbach, was born 
on January 10, 1870, in the State of Maryland.  She is survived by her husband, 
Carl Vogtmann, her nephew, Victor Phillips, of Frostburg, Md., whom she raised 
from a small child, and one brother, John Merrbach of Frostburg, Md.  Two infant 
children preceded her in death.
  A brief funeral service will be held at the family home at 2:45 on Sunday 
afternoon, August 3, and the regular service will be held at the Lutheran Church 
at 3:15.  Rev. H. K. Hilner, pastor of the church, is in charge of the service.  
Interment will be made in the Old German Lutheran Cemetery in Frostburg, Md., by 
H. R. Konhaus, local mortician.
