Born July 5, 1947, in Somerset, daughter of Dorothy (Pile) Bittner of Gray and the late Robert D. Bittner. She is survived by her husband, Anthony J.; sons, Tony and Donny. She was a twin-sister of Mrs. Robert (Susanne) Zatko, Jennerstown. Sister of R. Craig, married to Rebecca Lundquest, Friedens RD 1, Kim and Cynthia, both of Gray. She was a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and Gallaudet College, Washington, D.C., where she was member of the Chi Omega Psi Sorority. She was a home economics teacher at the Florida School for the Deaf. She was secretary of the Bold City Club of the Deaf and a member of Miami Association of the Deaf. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and attended Arlington Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Friedens Lutheran Church by the Rev. James R. Ling. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. No viewing at the church.
