Born Feb. 13, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio. Daughter of Frederick and Wanda (Wardenga) Hanover. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother of Columbus, Ohio; husband, Mark R., and sons, Matthew and Peter, both at home. She was a sister of Fred and Robert Hanover, both of Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville. Death breaks marriage union of 10 years. She was assistant director of Somerset County Planning Commission, and member of Bedford-Somerset Mental Health/Mental Retardation Advisory Board; Pennsylvania Association of County Human Service Administrators, Somerset County Children's Service Systems Management Team, Somerset County Children's Task Force, Somerset County Health and Welfare Council, Somerset County Human Service Planning Committee, United Cerebral Palsy of the Southern Alleghenies Region Board of Directors and Somerset County Chapter PA Clean Ways. Was active in Youth Advocate Program, Inc. She was on the Conemaugh Township School District Strategic Planning Committee. She formerly was involved with Somerset County Head Start. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. David's Lutheran Church, Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz. Interment, Kaufman Cemetery.
