His many friends were greatly shocked when they heard of the sad news. Mr. Vough was 51 years old. He was a son of John Vough, deceased, of Black Township. His mother, Mrs. George Wengerd, of Rockwood survives. Mr. Vough did quite a bit of farming during his younger years. Later his chief occupation was mining. He was a handy man at nearly any kind of work. He was loyal and of a kind disposition and had no bad habits, and being a man of such type he had many true friends who held him in high esteem. He was a kind father and devoted husband, and by his quick departure he will be sadly missed in his home and in the town of Rockwood where he spent many years of his life. A portion of his life was spent in the West. Mr. Vough was twice married. His first wife died more than 20 years ago. His second wife was Mrs. Grace (Faidley) Marker, widow of Harry Marker, of Rockwood, who died from Bright's disease in 1918, leaving one daughter Harriet, who survives. He is also survived by four half-brothers and two sisters, of Rockwood. Mills & Mickey had charge of the funeral arrangements. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, at Rockwood.
