VOUGHT Charles Earl Vought, 94, of Romney, WV, and formerly of Oakland, Md., died Feb. 6, 1988 in Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland, Md. Born in Salisbury, July 3, 1893, he was the son of the late John L. and Matilda (Fike) Vought. Twice married, he was preceded in death by both wives, Roselle (Moon) Vought, in 1952, and Ada (Guthrie) Vought, in 1976. A retired farmer, he was a member of Laurel Glen Church of the Brethren, Cranesville. Surviving are three sons, Hobart Vought, Kearns, Utah; Robert Vought and Quinter Vought, both of Ravenswood; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Arnold, Romney, W.Va.; and Mrs. Ruth Martin, Columbia, Md.; several stepchildren; two brothers, Emmert Vought, Huntington, Ind.; and Hurley Vought, North Manchester, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Offiditz, Bridgewater, Va.; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.
