  RAY C. VOUGHT
  
    Ray C. Vought, 81, of Meyersdale, died suddenly July 22, 1978, in
  Meyersdale.
    He was born March 25, 1897 in Meyersdale, son of the late John and
  Mitilda (Fike) (Thomas) Vought.
    He is survived by his widow, Olive (Butler); two daughters, Mrs.
  Gladys Schardt, Meyersdale, and Grace, wife of James Spart, Fort
  Washington, Md.; and nine grandchildren; and brothers: Charles,
  Oakland, Md.; Emert, Huntington, Ind.; Hurley, North Manchester,
  Ind.; and sister, Mrs. Beulah Hoffiditz, Bridgewater, Va.
    Member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, he served on the
  deacon board.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
    Services were at the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren with the
  Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
