SAMUEL VOUGHT

  Samuel Vought, a former resident of Pine Hill, Pa., passed away at the home of 
his son in Derry, Pa., on March 13, 1942.  Mr. Vought was born near Meyersdale, 
November 10, 1853.  His wife, Matilda Suder Vought, passed away six years ago.  
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Carrie Fogle, of Meyersdale, and the following 
children: Mrs. Dora Perucca of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Ira Vought of Akron, Ohio, 
and Bruce Vought of Derry.  He also leaves 19 grandchildren and 32 great-
grandchildren.   Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion (Hay's) Church, of which 
he was a member, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  The service was in charge of 
Rev. F. D. Witmer, assisted by Dr. Guy N. Hartman.  Gosnel Funeral Home of 
Latrobe had charge of the funeral.

Call not back the dear departed
Anchored safe where storms are o'er
On the border land we left him
Soon to meet and part no more
When we leave this world of changes
When we leave this world of care
We shall find our missing loved one
in our Father's home above.
