  MRS. IDA B. WABLE
  
    Mrs. Ida B. Wable 79, Boswell, RD 2, died Dec. 24, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    Born Dec. 21, 1887, in Philson, Somerset County, she was a daughter
  of Filmore and Susan (Hutzell) Smith.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah S., in March
  1954; also a son, Elmer A. (Sam).
    Surviving are these children: L. F. Wable, Washington, D.C.;
  Thelma, wife of Donald Beas, Johnstown: Miss Clema, at home; Elva,
  wife of Wilbert Nicklow, Acosta; Susan, wife of Neil Griffith,
  Jenners; Beverly, wife of Bruce Nichols, Greensburg.
    She was a sister of Perry Smith, Meyersdale RD 3; F. F. Smith,
  Brownsville; Mrs. Agnes Wable, Ursina; Mrs. Martha Petenbrink and
  Dewey, both of Hyndman; Mrs. Bardella Housel, Meyersdale; and Mrs.
  Lydia Christner, Meyersdale RD.
    She was a member of the Kantner EUB Church, American Legion
  Auxiliary to Post 461 of Boswell; Boswell fire company auxiliary; and
  the Silver Ray Rebekah lodge of Boswell.
    Funeral service was held on Wednesday afternoon at Joseph H. Hoffman
  funeral home, Boswell, with Rev. Robert Peterson officiating.  
    Interment was made in Jenner Cross Roads cemetery.
