(Hartline) Alice E. (Hartline) Wade, 88, Somerset, died peacefully after an extended illness on Sept. 16, 2007, at The Heritage. Born Feb. 4, 1919, in Rockwood, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Ida (Miller) Hartline. Also preceded in death by sons, Perry and Richard; husband, Elmo; and brothers, George, Earl, Ernest and Lester Hartline. Survived by her daughter, Laura Jean Hauger and hus- band, Dale; grandchildren, Kevin and wife, Michelle (Slifco), Kenneth, and Amy; great- grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin Jr., and Carrie; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was a nurse in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a retired nurse in civilian life. She was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mark Bendes officiating.
