  Daniel Fred Wagner, 76, Stoystown RD 2, died May 17, Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 26, 1899 in Shade Twp. the son of
  Daniel C. and Margaret M. Magnes Wagner.  Preceded in death by
  parents, one granddaughter, one great grandson and two sisters. 
  Survived by widow, the former Harriet M. Glessner and the following
  children: Lee Jack, Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Edward E. (Janet) Jeter,
  Stoystown RD 2; Fred C. and Mrs. Charlie M. (Nancy) Beasley, both of
  Arlington, Va.; Mrs. John T. (Sally) Monaghan, Annandale, Va.; nine
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Death ends a marriage
  union of 53 years.  Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown,
  and church council.  Retired from Loyal Hanna Coal and Coke and U.S.
  Steel Corp.  President of Buckstown Cemetery Association.  Family
  received friends Tuesday evening and will receive friends from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and until noon Thursday at the Charles R.
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be moved to Buckstown
  Lutheran Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m.
  Thursday, Rev. Woodrow J. Klinger officiating.  Interment, Buckstown
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make contribution to Cancer
  Society.
