Wagner, at her home in Somerset. Mrs. Wagner was found dead by her 9-year-old grandson, Dale Wagner, when he returned from the Union Street school at about 4:00 p.m. on January 5th. When the lad went upstairs to change his clothes he found the body of his grandmother suspended from a door frame. The lad called Policeman Lester Wagner, who notified Coroner P. C. Dosch. The coroner decided that death by suicide must have occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Wagner had not been in good health for some time, but no reason is known for her taking her own life. She was born in Salisbury on November 19, 1890, shortly after her parents, the late George and Ida May Schramm, moved here. She and her husband, son of Blacksmith Charles Wagner, resided here after their marriage until about 20 years ago. Two sons are in the service; Pvt. Robert Wagner, somewhere in Africa, and Pvt. Daniel Wagner at Camp Bowie, Texas. Mrs. Daniel Wagner is with her husband in Texas, and their son, Dale, had been staying with his grandparents since his father entered the Army. Mrs. Wagner is survived by three sisters - Mrs. Jonas Lichty, Salisbury; Mrs. R. R. Staub, Somerset, and Mrs. Wilbur Foster, Akron, Ohio; and two brothers - George of Somerset and Paul of Wilkinsburg.
