Wagner, 72, Ridge Road, Stoystown, died April 27, 2001 at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Jan. 19, 1929 in Shade Township, son of Daniel and Harriet (Glessner) Wagner. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Hannah Rae Landis and brother, L. Jack. Survived by stepdaughter, Sandra Meddaugh, Columbia, S.C., 6 step-grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Janet W. Jeter of Stoystown, Sarah E. Monaghan of Ocean Pines, Md., and Nancy W. Beasley of Chantilly, Va. Korean War Army veteran. Retired from Arlington, Va. Professional Firefighters' Association. He lived in Virginia for 26 years before retiring to, Pennsylvania in 1980. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown; Robert P. Hite Post 257 American Legion, Stoystown; Central City V.F.W. Post 7457; and the N.R.A. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Steven Caler officiating. Interment, Buckstown Cemetery. American Legion service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be given to "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S.
