  Laura M. Wagner, 99, Somerset, formerly of Lincoln Township and
  Quecreek, died May 3, 1997, at Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born Dec.
  21, 1897, in Shade Township, a daughter of the late Joseph and Martha
  (Richeberger) Koontz.  Preceded in death by husband, Kline E., Nov.
  27, 1971; stepmother, Emma Daniels; stepbrother, George Daniels;
  stepsister, Elsie Morris; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Fred
  Shaffer, who died as a result of an accident in their home in 1990;
  and brothers and sisters, Frank, Royal, Wacther Koontz and Mrs.
  Jennie Berkebile and Elizabeth Oaks.  Survived by son, Dwight S.,
  married to the former Kathryn Alexander, Somerset; 5 grandchildren:
  Marjorie, wife of Ronald LaBrosse, Pittsburgh; Judy, wife of Roger
  Clouser, Middletown; Linda Wagner, Pittsburgh; Patricia, wife of
  Charles Hauger, and Karen, wife of Ronald Kooser, both of Somerset;
  16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.  Member of
  Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Friends received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ
  Casebeer Church, Pastor Dwight A. Huseman officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Body will lie in state in the church
  from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers,
  memorials may be given to the Christ Casebeer Church Memorial Fund.
