Wagner, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert J. Bittner, on Sunday, November 12, at about 9:15 a.m., of coronary thrombosis. Mrs. Wagner has suffered heart attacks at irregular intervals for some years, sometimes of considerable severity, and on Saturday morning, she was again stricken, an attack from which she did not recover. She was able to talk to members of her family on Saturday night, and passed away peacefully while asleep on Sunday morning. She was born in England on March 27, 1882, daughter of the late James Harding and Margaret (Hopper) Harding, and was aged 62 years, 7 months and 15 days. She is survived by her husband; her mother; one daughter, Isabelle, wife of Albert J. Bittner; one son, Morris H. Wagner; one grandson, Donald Wagner, and two brothers, John and William E. Harding, all of Salisbury. She was united in marriage to Mortimer A. Wagner on April 30, 1902, in the Lutheran Church at Monongahela, Pa., by the pastor, Rev. D. L. Johnson. At the time, she was a teacher in the public schools here, and Mr. Wagner was in business on Grant Street. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, and for many years pianist in St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury, until her hearing began to fail. She was a lady of the finest type, always in good humor, and with a cheerful word to everyone; never willing to see, hear or believe evil of anyone. Funeral services were conducted in the Thomas Funeral Parlor on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. by her pastor, Rev. George E. Bowersox, Jr. Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Mortician Stanley M. Thomas in charge. Riley and daughter, Maureen, Somerset; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Glotfelty, Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Bittner, Meyersdale; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beachy, Grantsville; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wilkes, Mrs. Norma Jean McCann and Mrs. Robert Jack, Monongahela, Pa.; Mrs. George Wahl, Jr., Greensburg.
