Her death was due to heart disease with which she was afflicted only a few hours. Mrs. Wagner had many friends in Salisbury, where she resided with her husband for some years before the family located in Akron. She is survived by her husband, three daughters and one son, as follows: Bessie, wife of Rev. Charles Engle, of Nervon, Pa.; Mrs. Clarence Baer, of Connecticut; Mrs. Hugh Morris and Victor Wagner, of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by ten or eleven grandchildren, and by one brother, John Hudson, of Sand Patch. Her children were all at the funeral except the daughter, who resides in Akron, whose health was not good enough to come to Salisbury, where the funeral was held at the M.E. Church, Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Whipple, the pastor, who resides in Berlin. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Before bringing the body to Salisbury, a short service was held at the Wagner home in Akron. Among those who came to Salisbury to attend the funeral were John Hudson, of Sand Patch, brother of the deceased, and Rev. Charles Engle, a son-in-law, of Nervon, Pa., and David Engle, of Akron, Ohio. Meyersdale Republican, March 5, 1931
