WAGNER, Verda Marie (Berkibile)

Verda Marie (Berkebile) Wagner, 100, formerly of Stoystown, went home with the 
Lord Dec. 16, 2006, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville. She was born Nov. 18, 
1906, in Shade Township, the daughter of Cyrus D. and Arvilla (Boyer) Berkebile. 
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Telford Wagner on Nov. 21, 1986, and 
sister, Florence Kimmel. Survived by daughter, Arlene (Calvin "Ted") Oaks, 
Laurel View Village and son, Ray G. (Lolalee Lohr) Wagner, Paola, Kan. Also 
survived by grandchildren: Robert Oaks, Windber; Peggy (Oaks) Kohan, 
Hooversville; Thomas Wagner, Independence, Mo.; and Cynthia (Wagner) Hopkins, 
Dallas, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; three 
step great-grandchildren and five step great-great-grandchildren along with two 
nieces, Janet (Kimmel) Pike, Florida and Velma (Kimmel) Hall, California. She 
was a life time member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and over 50 
years with the Loyal Women's Bible Class in Wilbur. She was a great traveler 
with her husband to all 50 states, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Canada, Bermuda, Virgin 
Islands and Mexico. The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at 
the Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Viewing from 1 until time of service at 2 
p.m.Tuesday at the Otterbein Church. Rev. James Hamilton and Rev. Samuel Weible 
officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown, at the convenience of 
the family. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Otterbein 
United Methodist Church, 594 Wilbur Road, Stoystown, PA 15563.
