Wagner, in Elk Lick Township, on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the age of 84 years. Death was caused by heart trouble. Mr. Wagner was a son of the late Jacob and Catherine DeHaven Wagner, and lived nearly all of his life in Salisbury and vicinity. Funeral services will be held at the J. H. Wagner home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Samuel Sigler, pastor of the Salisbury Lutheran Church, in charge. Undertaker W. C. Price will have charge of the burial arrangements. Mr. Wagner's wife, Christena Matheny Wagner, died ten years ago. The following daughters and sons survive: Mrs. Doshia Knarr of Wheeling, W.Va.; Mrs. Lee Davis, Beaver Falls, Pa.; Viola, Nellie and Iona, of Tiffin, Ohio; Theodore and Hayward, of Akron, Ohio.
