WAHDAN, Dulce Maria

Dulce Maria Wahdan, 10, Herdon, Va., died Sept. 18, 2008, at Fairfax Hospital, 
Fairfax, Va., because of heart complications. Born Feb. 18, 1998, in Guatemala, 
the daughter of Hasan and Jerri (Corbett) Wahdan, Herdon. Survived by brothers, 
Jesse and Derek Wahdan; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James (Vicki Gohn) Jurgevich, 
Stoystown; great-grandmothers, Mary Jane Gohn-Fyock, Friedens, and Ruth 
Jurgevich, Stoystown. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins, Erick and 
Robin Corbett Fish and their children, Coleman and Helen, Somerset; Christi 
Corbett and her son, Charlie, and Paul Cebula, all of Boswell; John and Samira 
Kaufman and their children, Christopher and Nicholas Kaufman, Virginia; and 
uncles, Myel and Omar Wahdan, Virginia. Dulce attended the fourth grade at 
Hunters Woods Elementary School. She loved playing with her family and friends. 
She was our special angel on earth. No viewing or visitation. A memorial service 
will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ed DeVore 
officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Aid 
Home, P.O. Box 1195, Somerset, PA 15501.
