ALBERT WAHL

  Albert Wahl, 85, died at 1:25 a.m. Monday, April 29, at the home of his son 
and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wahl of Meyersdale R.D. 3.  He had been 
ill only a few days.
  He was born on Oct. 19, 1860, in Rockwood, a son of Christopher and Marian 
Wahl.  Surviving are six sons - Harvey, Aliquippa; Christopher, Meyersdale, R.D. 
3; George, North St., Meyersdale; Charles and Ray, both Meyersdale R.D. 3, and 
Marling, Cumberland, Md.  He also left 37 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 
one brother, Martin Wahl, Meyersdale R.D. 3, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Queer, 
Somerset.
  His wife, the former Catherine May, died several years ago.  Two sons and 
three daughters also preceded him in death.  Funeral services were conducted at 
the home of his son, George, North St., Meyersdale, on Wednesday afternoon at 
2:30 by Rev. S. M. Whetstone, pastor of the Berlin Brethren Church, and were 
largely attended.  Interment in Union Cemetery, under the direction of W. C. 
Price & Son.
