Wahl, 62, of Beaver, who suffered a heart attack at his home, died Sunday, July 23, in Rochester Hospital. Born in Meyersdale, May 28, 1905, he was a son of the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Seigner) Wahl, and had resided for the past 20 years in Beaver. He was supervisor of data processing at Aliquippa Works, Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp., was an elder of Park United Presbyterian Church, Beaver, and a member of the Men's Bible Class. During World War II he served 44 months in the Navy and was discharged as a warrant officer. He was past master of Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, F and AM. Aliquippa; and a member of New Castle Consistory of Syria Temple, Pittsburgh. Having attended California Pa. State College, he taught school in Somerset County prior to going to Jones and Laughlin. Surviving are his wife, Marie P. Wahl; a son, Robert J., and a daughter, Kathy M., both at home. He was a brother of Carl E. Wahl, Sewickley; Paul E. Wahl, Central City; Mrs. Earl E. (Hilda) Baker, Aliquippa; Mrs. Carl E. (Hazel) Shockey, Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. Fay K. (Martha) Bittner, Meyersdale. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 26, in J. T. Anderson Funeral Home, Beaver, by Rev. Willard F. Rahn, assistant pastor of Park United Presbyterian Church, Beaver. Interment was made in Sylvania Hills Memorial Cemetery.
