    Karl E. Wahl, 78, North Plainfield, N.J., formerly of Meyersdale,
  died March 16, 1988, in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, N.J.  Born
  March 7, 1910, in Meyersdale, son of the late George W. and Gwen
  (Davis) Wahl.  Survived by widow, Frances (Saylor) Wahl; two
  children: Donald of Medham, N.J., and Carolyn Sue Illes, North
  Plainfield, N.J.; and six grandchildren.  Also a brother, George
  Wahl, Berlin.  Retired employee of the A & P Store.  Friends will be
  received at Leckemby Funeral Home Thursday 7-9 p.m. where service
  will be Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Pamela Armstrong.  Interment,
  Union Cemetery.
