Wahl, 72, of Central City died May 24, 1995, at Windber hospital. Born March 13, 1923, in Meyersdale. The son of Harvey and Elizabeth (Seigner) Wahl. Preceded in death by parents; brother Homer; Sister Grace Carver; and an infant sister Barbra. Survived by wife, the former Mary Livengood, and these children: Sue, wife of Larry Sarver, Tom and fiancee Dee Reese, and Tim and fiancee Donna Anders. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Carl, North Carolina; Hazel Shockey, Florida; Hilda Baker, Meyersdale; and Martha Bittner, Virginia. U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Member of the American Legion and VFW. Employed for 16 years by H.H. Carver and Sons Contractors and retired with 23 1/2 years' service as an inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Doug Burns officiating.
