WALBUSH, Ellen J. 

Ellen J. Walbush, 90, Somerset, formerly of Sipesville, died Dec. 4, 2006, at 
Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1915, in Somerset, the daughter of Hiram and 
Catherine (Zerfoss) Slickerman. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Karl C. 
Walbush, who died April 28, 1985; brother, George Slickerman; and sisters, 
Louise Flickinger and Lottie Emert. Survived by children, Donald Slickerman, 
married to the former Connie Mutz, Stoystown; Mrs. Jane Mitchell, Novi, Mich.; 
Thomas K. Walbush, married to the former Connie Moore, Pittsburgh; eight 
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Also 
survived by a brother, Henry Slickerman, Somerset. She enjoyed gardening and 
quilting. Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the 
Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a funeral service will be held 10 
a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Larry Weigle officiating. Interment 
Husband Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart 
Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA 15904.
