    WALFORD
    
    Edwin (Pop) G. Walford, 86, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 3, 1978 in
  Berlin.  He was born Sept. 21, 1892 in Scranton, a son of the late
  Edwin and Elizabeth (Blue) Walford.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  Sadie (Halfpenny) and a daughter, Mary Dalmau.  Survived by a sister,
  Mrs. Priscilla Stout, Somerset and two grandchildren: Mary, wife of
  William Mutchner, and Carlos Dalmau, both of Meyersdale, and two
  great grandchildren: Tracy and Michele Mutchner.  A member of the
  American Legion and a retired linotype operator for the U.S.
  Government Printing Office.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  Monday at the Leckemby Funeral Home in Meyersdale where services will
  be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Timothy Storms
  officiating.  Interment, Park Lawn Memorial Garden, Rockville, Md.
