CARRIE WALKER

  Mrs. Carrie (Miller) Walker, widow of Frank R. Walker, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Ralph Moser, R.D. 3, Meyersdale, at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 
at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 16 days.
  She was born in Summit Township, August 26, 1857, a daughter of Samuel P. and 
Susan (Klingaman) Miller.
  Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Guy N. Hartman, R.D. 2, Meyersdale; 
Mrs. Ralph Moser and Mrs. Ezra Sipple, both of R.D. 3, Meyersdale; eight 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Her husband preceded her in death 20 
years ago.
  Her body was prepared for burial by W. C. Price & Son, and was removed to the 
Ezra Sipple home, where friends are being received.  Funeral services will be 
conducted at 2:30 on Friday afternoon in the Church of the Brethren, of which 
she was a member, by the pastor, Rev. DeWitt L. Miller.  Interment will be made 
in Union Cemetery.
