Walker, 80, 165 Fuller St., Somerset, formerly of Johnstown, died Sept. 23, 1988, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1907, in Johnstown, son of Nathan and Edna (Parks) Walker. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Dorothy L. Brown; second wife, Emily Fisher; two sisters and seven brothers. Survived by wife, former Nina (Claycomb) Berger; daughter, Dorothy Louise, wife of Walter Green, Tampa, Fla.; stepchildren: Josephine A., wife of David Sleasman, Ligonier; Diane J. Pyle and Annabelle Berger, both of Somerset; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Member of Abundant Life Christian Center, Berlin; U.S.W.A. and S.O.A.R. of U.S.A. Retired employee of Johnstown Works, Bethlehem Steel Corp., with 35 years service. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Michael McGarry officiating.
