WALKER Clarence Eugene Walker, 66, Meyersdale, died March 11, 1975, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born April 24, 1908, on Meyersdale RD, he was a son of the late Frank and Minnie (Fritz) Walker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Roy (Gertrude) Enos. Surviving are his wife, the former Garna (Durst) Niner; a son, Eugene F. of Waynesboro, Va.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Richard (Lois) Powers, Citrus Heights, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Esther) Escott, Los Gatos, Calif.; and Mrs. Bernard (Ruth) Bruner; also three grandchildren and four step grandchildren. He was a brother of Hiram Walker, Meyersdale RD 1; Sheriff Norman Walker, Somerset; and Paul Walker of Dearborn, Mich. Mr. Walker was a retired educator with 44 years of service, 30 years of which he spent in West Virginia, seven years in Delaware and seven years in the Salisbury-Elk Lick School District in Somerset County, serving in the capacity of high school principal, supervising principal and superintendent. Friends are being received in Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, with Rev. John Glick officiating. Interment in Fritz Cemetery.
