Walker, 93, formerly of Somerset RD 2, died Nov. 2, 1989, in Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Sept. 19, 1896, in Somerset Township, a son of the late Harry W. and Agnes (Ankeny) Walker. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Russell and Amos; wife, former Mary Darr; and great-granddaughter, Eliza Walker. Survived by these children; Guy E., married to former Betty Egolf, Somerset; John H., married to former Audrey Kelly, Somerset; James L., married to former Julie Noble, Littleton, Colo., and Helen, wife of Richard Ott, Johnstown; 12 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren, and one brother, George H. Walker, Sipesville. He was a member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former Lincoln Township supervisor. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. George Walton officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Body will lie in state in church one hour before service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Somerset County Library, North Rosina Ave., Somerset, and the American Cancer Society, South Lynn Ave., Somerset RD 5, or the United Cerebral Palsy, East Main St., Somerset.
