  WALKER
  
  Curtis Walker, 46, of Johnstown, lost a courageous fight with cancer
  on Oct. 2, 1999, at UPMC Lee Regional.  Preceded in death by paternal
  grandparents, Charles and Cecelia Walker and maternal grandparents,
  Clarence and Viola Mowry.  Survived by parents, William and Laverne
  (Mowry) Walker; daughter Jessica Walker of Winchester, Va.; and
  sister Colleen Walker-Abel of Johnstown.  Also survived by his loving
  and supportive fiancee Tammy Young and her children: Shannon, Josh,
  Luke and Leah.  Received a BS in biology from the University of
  Pittsburgh and a RS in pharmacy from the University of Temple.  He
  was employed as they pharmacy manager at Bi-Lo in Westmont.  Curt was
  an avid outdoorsman and a great lover of hunting and fishing.  Member
  of the Homestead United Methodist Church and the Praise and Worship
  Center.  Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday
  and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at noon Tuesday at the
  Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher
  Blvd.
