She was born in Greenville Township, October 4, 1900, a daughter of Wilson A. and Ida (Hostetler) Miller. She is survived by her husband, her father, four children - Ruth, wife of Samuel Phillips, Janet, Joann, and Mary Jane Walker, all at home; one grandson; one brother, Earl Miller, Meyersdale; six sisters, Mrs. Melvin Lindeman, Mrs. W. R. Snyder, Meyersdale; Mrs. Robert Shockey, Meyersdale R.D. 3; Mrs. Samuel Osgood, Oregon; Mrs. James Shockey, Wheeling, W.Va.; Mrs. Donald Barmoy, Meyersdale. Another sister, Mrs. Quinter Gnagey, died two weeks ago. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon in the First Lutheran Church, Rev. J. Ewing Jones, pastor of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren, of which she was a member, and Rev. Howard W. Bock, pastor of the Fritz Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Fritz Cemetery, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus. Meyersdale Republican, June 12, 1947
