  Ethel V. Walker, 98, of Huckleberry Hwy., Berlin, died, Oct. 31, 2002
  at Windber Hospice.  Born May 31, 1904 in Stonycreek Twp., daughter of
  Milton J. and Elizabeth (Brant) Baughman.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Clarence R.; children Carol Evans, Marian and Alvin
  Walker; sisters Elnora Will and Viola Miller; two grandsons; and two
  great-granddaughters.  Survived by these children: Elizabeth Custer
  with whom she resided, Blair, married to the former Helen Burkett of
  Somerset, Telford of Boswell, Kathleen, married to Howard Frombaugh
  of Johnstown, Carl, married to the former Helen Hollinger of Berlin,
  Donald, married to the former Sally Walker of Carlisle, Patricia,
  married to Michael Nazak of Pittsburgh, Eleanor, married to Richard
  Stern of Indian Lake, and Marie, married to William Mort of Central
  City; 36 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 15,
  great-great-grandchildren, sister of Edison Baughman of Berlin and
  Lula Mayo of Brunswick, Ga.  Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of
  Christ, Boswell.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Saturday.  Rev. Joseph M. Beer officiating. 
  Interment Glade Union Cemetery.  Instead of flowers, contributions
  may be given to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa.
