Walker, 87, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Frostburg, Md., died Wednesday, July 6, 1988, at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 27, 1908, in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Robert and Heron (McKenzie) Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Crowe) Walker, Sept. 1, 1971. Mr. Walker was a retired employee of Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Carole Commons, Bradenton, Fla.; three sons, J. Thomas Walker, Orlando, Fla.; Robert Walker, Palmetto, Fla.; and Michael R. Walker, Bradenton, Fla.; three half sisters, Mrs. Claude Sutton, of Cumberland, Md.; Emma Jane Popavich, of California; and Martha Walker, Meyersdale, two half brothers, Gavin Walker, Cumberland, Md.; and Herman Walker, Confluence; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Sunday. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church by Monsignor Simon Kenny.
