(Jim) Walker, 79, of Somerset RD 6, died April 20, 1988, at Somerset Community Hospital. March 20, 1909, in Somerset County, son of the late Milton and Susan (Brougher) Walker. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survived by wife of 53 years, the former Frieda Putman. Brother of: Wilbur of Florida, Joseph of California, Janet Yonai of Somerset and Mrs. John (Phyllis) Props of Akron, Ohio, and Dorothy Adams of Pittsburgh. Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville. A construction worker and dairy farmer by occupation. Mr. Walker's remains were donated to Humanity Gifts Registry, Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements were in charge of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Daily American, April 23, 1988 [W0201]
