  WALKER
  
  Frederick M. Walker, 83, of Meyersdale RD 1 died Feb. 8, 1997, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born July 29, 1913, in Summit
  Township.  Son of the late Morgan H. and Cordella (Sipple) Walker. 
  Survived by his widow, the former Ruth Romesberg; two sons and a
  daughter: F. Carl, Meyersdale RD 1; Mark E. of La Grange, Ohio, and
  Carol Menser of Salisbury.  Seven grandchildren: Kathy Marteney,
  Mike, Brian and Heather Walker, Keith and Kevin Menser and Heidi
  DeMooy, and great-grandchildren: Jennifer and Kaitlyn Marteney,
  Joshua, Andrew, Carrie and Alaina Walker.  Also survived by two
  brothers and a sister: Clarence Walker of Meyersdale RD 1 and Morgan
  Walker and Dorothy Brown, both of Phoenix, Az.  Member of the Main
  Street Brethren Church. Friends were received Sunday evening at the
  Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday,
  with Pastor Robert Stahl.  Interment, Fritz Cemetery.
