Walker, 85, Meyersdale, died Aug. 23, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Meyersdale. Born Feb. 26, 1919, in Meyersdale. A son of the late George and Emma G. (Wellen) Walker. Also preceded in death by a brother, Ben C. Walker, and a nephew, Ronnie D. Walker. Survived by his dear companion, Luella M. Decker, Meyersdale; brother, William R. Walker, Meyersdale; and sister, Ruth Wright, Meyersdale. Harry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. A 59-year member of the American Legion Post 112 Meyersdale and a life member of the Salisbury VFW. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Pete Kaltenbaugh officiating.
