Born April 28, 1925 in Milford Township, a daughter of Harry Bruce and Margaret Marie (Hay) Saler. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Robert Donald Walker, who died July 3, 2006; brothers, Bruce and Harold Saler. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Kathleen) Duigou, Greensburg; Pamela Walker, Somerset; granddaughters; Mrs. Timothy (Sarah) Hines, Berkley Springs, W.Va.; Elizabeth Duigou, Greensburg. Also survived by brothers and sisters; Miss Ferne Elaine Saler, Somerset; Carl R. Saler, Somerset; Mrs. William Robert (Lillian) Lloyd, Somerset; Merle Kenneth Saler, Campbell, N.Y. and Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Schlosnagle, Somerset. A 1943 graduate of Somerset High School where she was an honor student. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active teaching Bible School. She worked as a clerical secretary for the Farm Bureau, Agway and Montgomery Ward Co. until her retirement. She was also a past member of the Rebekah Lodge and volunteered at Somerset Hospital as well as the Social Security office. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset with the Rev. Linda McElroy officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
