Born March 19, 1910, in Brunswick (Frederick County) MD., she was a daughter of the late Charles Albert Cage Sr. and "Mollie" Mary Jane (Coates) Cage of Somerset. Her husband of 38 years, Harvey Boose Walker, preceded her in death in 1989. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles A. Cage Jr. and half-brothers, A. Lyle Cage and Stanley N. Cage, and twins, Charles W. and Edna P. Cage. She is survived by daughter Audrey Helen Lange Critchfield and her husband Robert M. Critchfield, all of Latrobe, and a niece, Verdean E. Cage Keyser of Jennerstown. She was a graduate of Somerset High School in 1928 and attended George Washington University, Washington, D. C. She was employed as a secretary for J. C. Penney Co., Somerset County Triple A, Consolidated Coal Company, and had been secretary-treasurer and bookkeeper for Vincent Motors and Runner Oldsmobile Auto Sales Company, all located in Somerset. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and taught both for the Fulton Organ Company of Uniontown for many years. A member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset. She had served as church organist in her younger years. She was a fifty-year member of Uniontown Chapter # 263, O.E.S. Formerly, she was a member of Somerset Business and Professional Women's Association, Somerset Music Club, Organ and Piano Teachers Association, Inc., and Slippery Rock Campground Association. Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Reverend Aimee W. Twigg of Latrobe officiating. Interment will follow in the Somerset County Memorial Park. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Somerset Calvary United Methodist Church, 239 W. Church St., Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Derry Area Caldwell Memorial Library, Box 169 RR1, Derry, Pa., 15627. Eastern Star services were held at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Daily American, November 11, 1997 [L0230]
