  HILDA RITA WALKER
  
  Hilda Rita Walker, 87, Hooversville, died Sept. 18, 2004, at Maple
  Winds Nursing Center, Portage.  Born Aug. 21, 1917, in Johnstown,
  daughter of James and Florence Wincer.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Edward James Walker, who died Aug. 21, 1989; 10 siblings and
  son-in-law, Eugene Lloyd.  She was the last surviving member of her
  family.  Survived by these children: Sally Walker (Donald), Carlisle,
  Esther Helsel (John), Boiling Springs, Edward Walker (Jean),
  Johnstown, Virginia Lloyd, Somerset, Thomas Walker (Ann), York Haven,
  Linda Bourdette (Louis), Mechanicsburg, Martha Helsel (Leroy),
  Altoona, Kathryn Corden (Steven), Hooversville, Alice Miller
  (Donald), New Paris, Karen Read (William), Slidell, La., and Mary
  Lockard (Barry), Lemoyne; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren
  and one great-great-grandchild.  Member of the former Hooversville
  Christian Church.  Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until
  service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.
  The Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment, P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery.  Instead of flowers, memorials may be given to the American
  Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15904 or the
  American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
