  HUBERT WALKER
  
    Hubert (Hubie) J. Walker, 65, of Cole Road, Atlantic, Pa., a former
  resident of Meyersdale, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at his residence.
    Born Jan. 23, 1932, in Muskokee, Okla., he was the son of Hubert
  Oslo and Louise Reese Walker.
    Mr. Walker worked at PPG for 42 years, retiring in 1991.  He was a
  member of the Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Department and the
  Meyersdale Elks Lodge.  He enjoyed music and reading.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Roberta Shreve; five
  daughters: Connie Thomas of Farmington, Mo.; Karen Palmer, Warrenton,
  Mo.; Lyn Chisolm, Clarks Mills; Colleen Bartolo, Greenville; and
  Pamela Yoder, Meadville; five sons: Rick Walker, Pittsburgh; Keith
  Walker, Tonopah, N.Y.; Mark Walker, Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; John
  Borkovic, Linesville; and Rick Sorger, Meadville; 17 grandchildren; a
  great-grandson; his mother, Louise Reese Walker McKeever, DeSoto, Mo.;
  a sister, Callie Troglin of DeSoto, Mo.; a halfbrother, Steve
  McKeever, Victoria, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services were held May 27 at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral
  Home, Inc., Meadville, with the Rev. Robert Shreve officiating.
