Walker, John

  John Walker aged eleven years, son of Mrs. Martha Walker, died on Wednesday 
before Christmas after a prolonged illness of typhoid fever. He took sick with 
typhoid fever about five weeks ago and a few days before his death, pneumonia 
set in which proved fatal. The funeral was held at the home of his mother on 
Main Street on Christmas afternoon, the Rev. L. P. Young, officiating. The young 
lad will be much missed by his family, his schoolmates, and everybody that knew 
him, for his kind and cheerful disposition.
