Born September 20, 1912, in Jefferson Township, son of the late Mathias and Emma (Manges) Walker. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Survived by Mrs. Evelyn (Lyons) Walker and the following children: Wilbert, Somerset RD 6; Mrs. Wayne D. (Lucille) Miller, Smithfield RD 1; and John M., Somerset RD 6; four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Irene Myers, Pittsburgh; and a brother, James Walker, Pittsburgh. World War II veteran of the US Army, and member of the VFW, Somerset. Friends are being received in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Walter Startzel officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Somerset American, May 12, 1975 [W0248]
