Walker, 77, Kirtland, Ohio, passed on Aug. 24, 2004, at Geauga Hospital. Born April 15, 1927, in Ralphton, he is the son of Hiram and Margaret (Mitchell) Walker. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty (Tipton) Walker, daughter Lois, brothers Clifford, and Harry Walker, and sister Marie (Walker) Erikson. He is survived by his daughter Linda Kay Walker (and friend Robert Kukich), Kirtland; sons Lyle Eugene Walker, married to Sandra (Litz), Mentor, Ohio, and Harold Edward Walker, Kirtland; grandchildren Christopher and Heather Walker; stepchildren David Tipton, married to Nancy (Grine), Somerset; Jack Tipton, married to Dora Lynn (Sager), Friedens; step-grandchildren Rebecca Schlosnagle, David Tipton II, Joel Tipton, Betty Paula Berkey and Margie Johnson; step great-grandchildren Bryan and Eric Berkey, Robert and Randon Tipton, Amanda and Amber Schlosnagle, Shane and Brandi Tipton, and Chelsa and Derek Johnson; brothers Norman Walker, Mesa Ariz., Jim Walker, Rockwood; Roy Walker, Phoenix, Ariz.; Clinton (Jay) Walker, Rockwood, and Patricia (Pat) Renaud, Rockwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He worked in the Valve Division of TRW Manufacturing in Euclid, Ohio. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and the Korean War and a member of FOE Lodge 1801 in Somerset. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev.
