Walker, 68, 1215 Brubaker St., Berlin, died Nov. 6, 1984, at home. Born Oct. 30, 1916, in Maryland, a daughter of Joseph A. and Clara L. (Colflesh) Deem. Preceded in death by parents; husband Ernest S., who died in 1973; brothers: Joseph Jr., Raymond and Harold; and one step-granddaughter. Survived by these children: Shirley, married to James Mull, Denver, Ind.; Florabelle, married to Robert Lichty, Naples, Fla.; Emma Jean, married to Joseph Dillinger, Spring City, Pa.; Kenneth Roy, married to Sandy Belcher, Canfield, Ohio; and Judith Durst, Berlin; 13 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by a friend, Glenn Hostetler, Berlin. She was a sister of: Walter Deen, Akron, Ohio; Wilbur, Clyde and Mrs. Mary Ann Walker, all of Berlin RD 3; Fred, Berlin; Jean Romesburg, Meyersdale; and Robert Phelps, New York. Member of First Brethren Church, Berlin, Golden Age Sunday School Class, Meyersdale Senior Citizens, American Legion, VFW and Berlin Firemen Ladies auxiliaries, also Somerset County LPN Association. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Brotherton Pike, Cemetery. The VFW auxiliary will hold memorial services at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Daily American, November 8, 1984 [W0262]
