  WALKER
  
  Mary C. Walker, 75, Somerset RD 2, died Aug. 22, 1976 in her
  residence.  Born Oct. 15, 1900, in Somerset Township, a daughter of
  Charles F. and Ellen (Smith) Darr.  Preceded in death by parents and
  one brother, Fred.  Survived by husband Clarence L.; her stepmother,
  Mrs. Lucy Darr, Somerset; these children: Helen, wife of Richard M.
  Ott, Johnstown; Guy E., Somerset; John H., Somerset RD 5; and James
  L., Houston, Texas, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  These
  brothers and sisters: Mrs. Alpha Smucker, Somerset; Miss Pauline Darr,
  Somerset; Mrs. Edwin Gashaw, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Alton Hoffman,
  Somerset RD 3; Clyde, Sipesville; and Edward J., Somerset RD 2.   She
  was a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church., Ladies Volunteer
  Bible Class, Friendly Circle, LCW, Seventh Society of Farm Women of
  Somerset County, and Lincoln Homemakers.  Friends will be received
  after 2 p.m. today, Tuesday [     ] H. Halverson Funeral Home.
  Funeral service Wednesday 2 p.m. in Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church.
  Rev. Walter E. Lundberg officiating.  Interment, Church Cemetery.
  Body will be removed to the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday.  In lieu of 
  flowers, donations will be made to American Cancer Society of Somerset County.
