  MILES F. WALKER
  
    Miles F. Walker, 100, Berlin, died Sept. 30, 1982, at Maple
  Mountain Manor.
    He was born Feb. 9, 1882, in Brothersvalley Township, son of late
  Amos and Louise (Durand) Walker.  He was preceded in death by three
  brothers.
    He is survived by nephew, Harvey B. Walker, Latrobe, and niece,
  Katherine Meyer, Atlanta, Ga.
    He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Johnstown; was chief
  clerk for Pennsylvania Railroad, from which he retired with over 50
  years service; member of Mutual Beneficial Association of Penn
  Central Railroad employees.
    Friends were received at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services were held with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
