Walker, of Indianapolis, Indiana, a native and former resident of this county died last Sunday in the Somerset Community Hospital where he had been taken when he became ill while visiting friends in this community for two weeks. He was a son of the late Rev. Daniel H. and Mary Knepper Walker, and was 69 years old at the time of his death. He located in Indianapolis many years ago, where he prospered in business. His wife, Mrs. Kate Walker, preceded him in death. He is survived by three children: Donald H., in Brazil; Harold D., Youngstown, O.; and Mrs. Russell Faux, Indianapolis. He is survived also by these brothers and sisters: William, Akron, Ohio; Ira H., Washington, D.C.; Rev. Galen K. Walker, Glendon, Cal.; Mrs. Mahlon Reiman, Vineland, N.J.; Mrs. George Reiman, Berlin R.D.; Mrs. Elmer Lichty, Waterloo, Ia.; Mrs. Samuel Meyers, Shippensburg, Pa.; Mrs. Julia Rymer, Youngstown, O., and Mrs. Floyd Beachley, Latrobe, Pa. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Johnson Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Roy S. Forney in charge. Interment in the Brethren Church Cemetery at Brotherton.
