Race Street, Somerset, died May 26, 1978, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born May 16, 1905, in Shanksville, he was a son of the late Willam and Nora (Rayman) Walker. Preceded in death by a brother, John, and one sister, Sadie Ringler. Survived by his wife, the former Viola B. Albright; one son, Richard C., Taylor, Mich.; three grandsons and five step-grandchildren. His passing ends a marriage union of 47 years. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received after 12 noon Sunday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating.
