All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ MISSOURI WALKER Mrs. Missouri Walker, 88, died Tuesday evening, March 25th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Zimmerman, of Berlin, with whom she made her home. She was born Nov. 10, 1858, in Berlin, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Wingard) Coleman, and was married to Henry Walker, who died many years ago. Mrs. Walker had been in failing health for more than a year. Two sons, Edward, former postmaster of Berlin, and Benjamin, preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Clara, wife of Harry Zimmerman, and Ida, wife of Harry Donner, and one son, Bert S. Walker, all of Berlin. Sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at the Johnson and Son Funeral Home Friday, at 2 p.m., with Rev. D. S. Stephan officiating. Mrs. Walker was a faithful member of the Reformed Church. Her body was laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, April 3, 1947
